Well, we’re off on our annual winter travels, and I have a confession. I’ve been a bit remiss on rolling out this blog, for a few different reasons. I won’t bore you with the details of what those reasons were, but I decided to use my 2020 departure for the winter as a reason to get things back in gear here at StillEnRoute.com.
So here I am. Today is literally my departure date from the U.S.
Part of the reason I’ve ignored this blog is simply lack of time. Some of you may know that my winter trips aren’t exactly “vacations”. Not in the sense that most people consider vacations. While I’m gone, I’m still working a full schedule for my travel business. I’m just doing it from abroad! So despite my best intentions during past years, I haven’t spent as much time on this blog as I intended to.
My goal is to change that starting now in 2020.
So instead of doing separate social media updates and such where I give family and friends a little snapshot of what’s going on while I’m traveling, I’ve decided to use this blog instead. I can’t promise I will post every day. But I’m going to try and keep you up to date on the good, the bad, the ugly and the downright ridiculous parts of long term travel like we’ve been doing for more than a few years.
My Winter 2020 Destinations
This year, we’re heading back to Spain for the bulk of our time. Here’s how the preliminary schedule has shaped up.
Seville – 1st 3 nights only. Going back to the “scene of the crime” from last year when we spent a full month in Seville.
Malaga – 4 weeks starting February 1st.
Girona – Around 5 weeks starting March 2nd.
U.K. – Around 7-10 days in April.
This could change at virtually any time. Up until a few days ago we were going somewhere else for the first 3 days.
If this is your first visit to my blog, don’t miss my welcome page here so you can learn what the heck goes on around here.
Hi, thanks for stopping by. I’m an online entrepreneur here at Still en Route where I write about everything travel-related, with a baby boomer twist! My goal is to inspire you to be adventurous and teach you how to fit more life into your lifestyle, even if you’re a baby boomer like me!
