still en route

"

Hi there, I’m Mary – an entrepreneurial baby boomer who is slightly geeky, loves to blog, and has spent a lifetime in the travel industry planning trips for everyone else.  Quite honestly, I cannot envision staying put in one place during the “golden years.  So, I’m still en route, or “on the way”.  And you should be too.  My goal with Still En Route is to inspire you to be adventurous and teach you how to fit more travel & life into your lifestyle, especially if you're on the fun side of 50.  Age is no barrier....it's just an excuse!  That’s the short story.

Budget Travel Destinations – 18 Places You Can Ditch the Hostel & Still Save Big

I've mentioned more than once around here that I don't do hostels and I don't schlep my luggage on the subway 🙂  But that doesn't mean I'm not interested in budget travel destinations!  In fact, I actually thrive on finding places that could actually be considered budget travel destinations.  I simply "ditch" the hostel and still find ways to have an affordable stay.  And [...]
